Potato Leeky Soup

Yum!  Dave's new favorite.

1 pound leeks, chopped
1 huge potato or a few small ones, cubed
1 box chicken broth
italian seasonings & janes mixed up salt
butter
little milk or cream
bacon, crispy and crumbled

cook leeks in butter until they start to soften and smell good
add broth and potato
cook until potato is soft, then blend some in the immersion blender
add milk or cream, seasonings and boil
add bacon on top when serving.
